1.5-2.5 Years
Baby Bears
Who is this for?
At around 18 months, baby cubs become baby bears.
The transition between these rooms happens smoothly and naturally, with both teams working closely to ensure every child feels confident and ready for the next step in their nursery journey.
The Curiosity Approach remains at the heart of everything we do, introducing new experiences and opportunities as children grow. We’re here to support their development every step of the way, making their time with us engaging, exciting, and full of discovery.
Children in this room will be cared for on the ration’s of 1:3 rising to 1:5 for the children who turn 2 years old.
What do we provide?
The children continue to learn heavily through play in the baby bear room, where they begin to develop their self help skills and independence through the support and guidance from the team.
The room is well quipped with age appropriate resources. It is a larger room than the baby cubs to accommodate for the increased ratio’s once the children turn 2 years old.
Baby bears comprises of a large and open plan room where children are able to access all areas freely, exploring daily activities to support all areas of their development. A separate space for soft play to develop gross motor skill, as well as a separate sleep room and a sensory room too.
We are very fortunate to have an amazing outside area for all children to explore. The baby bears are able to access this garden space which includes a large sand pit, a bike track, water play area, a mud kitchen and a large open green space for the children to explore.
