Getting Back Into The Swing Of Things
After a brief pause since September, we’re thrilled to announce that our community groups are back in action – and there’s plenty to be excited about for families in Banbury and beyond!

A Fresh Start in Our New Community Building
Thanks to a generous capital grant from Oxfordshire County Council, we’ve constructed a brand-new community building. This modern, purpose-built space is now the heart of our family-friendly sessions and community events. While the landscaping around the site is still being completed, we’re already welcoming children and parents back into our vibrant new hub.
Reintroducing Our Popular Drop-In Sessions
We’re delighted to restart two of our most popular parent and child drop-in groups, now running weekly in our new space. These sessions offer a relaxed and inclusive environment where children can play and learn, and parents can connect with others in the local area. For full details and times, visit our Drop-In Sessions page.
Exciting New Partnership with Rhythm Time
We’re proud to announce a new partnership with Rhythm Time, bringing their much-loved music and sensory development classes to the Grow Learn Play Project. These lively sessions are designed to support early learning through music, rhythm, and movement – perfect for babies and toddlers. We’re trialling the sessions over the coming weeks, and we’d love for Banbury families to come along and give them a try. You can find more information or locate other sessions via the Rhythm Time Location Finder.
Introducing Baby Massage on Tuesday Afternoons
We’re excited to launch our brand-new Baby Massage programme, running every Tuesday afternoon in rolling 4-week blocks. These gentle, nurturing sessions help promote bonding, improve baby sleep, and ease common infant discomforts like colic or wind. It’s also a lovely way for new parents in Banbury to meet others and share their journey.
Looking Ahead to a Summer of Fun
As we head into the warmer months, we’ve got even more in the pipeline – from new sessions to creative collaborations. We’re committed to offering affordable, accessible activities for families across Banbury and Oxfordshire, and we can’t wait to share what’s next.
Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning after a break, there’s never been a better time to get involved with the Grow Learn Play Project. Come explore our new space, connect with other families, and discover what makes our community so special.
